Ultimate Provence New Vintage Rosé

In my second international partnership, I am proud to be collaborating with Ultimate Provence. This Rosé has caught my eye before, even though it is newly released into South Africa, all the way from France. The elegant bottle design is captivating and oh so classy because of the pressed glass bottle shape.

I was intrigued by all the varieties used in this rosé. Syrah, Cinsault, Grenache noir & Rolle (Vermentino). There definitely isnt anything like it in South Africa.

Firstly, the colour is exceptionally light, which is great indicator for a quality rosé. It’s also a dry wine so it’s not sweet at all.

The spice notes from the Syrah provides a dry, white pepper characteristic across the entire
palate. A touch of Rolle gives great acidity and brightness conveying notes of fresh citrus, spice and freshness.

A great rosé to pair with food

Ultimate Provence Rosé is the perfect wine to accompany a picnic. It also pairs well with BBQ chicken and vegetable skewers. The spice notes will complement grilled meats and seafood, as well as classic Mediterranean charcuterie. It’s entirely versatile!
