Jazz Under the Stars: A Stellenbosch Harvest Event at Vergenoegd Löw
Is there anything better than a Stellenbosch sunset, a glass of bubbly, and live jazz? I didn't think so. To toast the end of the 2026 wine harvest, Vergenoegd Löw is hosting its iconic Jazz Under the Stars on Friday, 10 April.
Imagine this: the historic werf (courtyard) at Geuwels transformed into an open-air lounge, surrounded by Cape Dutch architecture and the very vineyards that just finished their season’s work. I attended last year and would highly recommend it!
What’s on the Menu?
You’ll be greeted with a crisp glass of Cap Classique before tucking into:
The Harvest Table: An abundant spread of seasonal starters celebrating the best of the farm.
The Main Event: A heritage-inspired plated main course by the incredible Michelle Theron. Expect authentically, Cape flavours, using fresh produce grown right on the estate.
The Sweet Finish: A traditional heritage treat to end the night with something sweet.
The Jazz
The Moonshine band, led by the legendary saxophonist Dan Shout, will be providing the soundtrack. Think upbeat jazz, swing, and those classic tunes that make you want to sway under the stars as the sky turns pink.
