Nederburg Launches New Logo and The Chance to WIN R100 000!

One of South Africa’s most well-recognised wineries, Nederburg, has just launched a brand-new logo and label design. I attended the launch event in June and was so impressed with the new design but also the campaign called “More to Explore”. I was impressed to learn that Nederburg is distributed all around the world and so their “more to explore” campaign really does speak to travelling the world.

As part of the campaign, Nederburg has introduced a beautiful signature red cloth — featured in both retail and online activations. Decorated with symbols like hot air balloons, planes, bees, anchors, and crowns, each element connects to the brand’s 200-year heritage.

As part of the launch and celebration, Nederburg is giving one lucky wine lover the chance to WIN a luxury travel experience worth R100 000! All you have to do is share your Nederburg moment — wherever and however you enjoy it — and you could be jetting off! Head to www.nederburg.com for full details and T&Cs, and don’t forget to tag your photos with #MoreToExplore and follow @NederburgWine.

What’s new about the logo?

If you’re strolling through the wine aisle and spot a bottle of Nederburg Baronne looking sleeker, brighter and bolder — that’s the new look in action.

The refreshed Nederburg logo and wine label design keeps the classic elements we know and love, but adds a friendlier, more contemporary feel. You can definitely notice the change in the “N” and the “g” and there is a little but more of a rounded off curve shape. The treatment of the crest and date is well done too.

Baronne Leads the Label Makeover

The first Nederburg wine to wear the new label is their beloved Baronne red blend. It’s definitely a household favourite because, according to Nederburg, one bottle of Baronne is opened every 25 seconds across South Africa.

Expect the rest of the range to follow soon, with updated packaging.

* Nederburg has been recognised as one of the World's 50 Most Admired Wine Brands by Drinks International, a leading specialist drinks journal, six times, underscoring its consistent excellence and global recognition.
