Take Four Piano Quartet at Vergenoegd Löw this Women’s Month
August is Women’s Month in South Africa, and Vergenoegd Löw Wine Estate in Stellenbosch has a special event planned. On Saturday, 2 August, the estate will host a performance by the Take Four Piano Quartet, an all-female classical ensemble.
The Take Four Piano Quartet is made up of four classical women musicians:
Zanta Hofmeyr (violin)
Jeanne-Louise Moolman (viola)
Susan Mouton (cello)
Elna van der Merwe (piano)
Formed in 2022, this group of soloists came together through their shared love for chamber music. Expect a rich, emotionally moving performance of Brahms and Dvořák in the estate’s intimate and acoustically beautiful Chapel.
The Afternoon Itinerary
This event is designed as follows:
14h00 – Welcome Drinks at the historic 1773 Homestead
15h00 – Concert Performance by Take Four in the Chapel
Evening – Three-Course Dinner & Wine at Clara’s Barn
Tickets are R900 per person, including:
A glass of Vergenoegd Löw wine on arrival
The live concert
